Call opening on 15 April 2026
ITC Conference Grants support researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs) and Near Neighbour Countries (NNCs) in attending international conferences relevant to vocal biomarkers and related fields. These grants are specifically designed for participants who are actively contributing to the conference through an oral presentation aligned with the objectives of eVoiceNet.
By supporting conference participation worldwide — whether in person or online — the programme aims to strengthen inclusiveness while helping researchers increase their visibility, expand their professional networks, and engage with new scientific communities.
Purpose and scope
These grants provide an opportunity to present research, build new collaborations, and gain exposure to the latest developments in the field. Participation should directly contribute to the objectives of eVoiceNet, particularly in advancing research on vocal biomarkers and AI-based voice analysis.
Proposed presentations must align with one of the Action’s Working Groups, including areas such as data and methodology standardisation, open resources, ethical and privacy aspects, translational research, and dissemination.
Eligibility
The call is open to Action participants affiliated with institutions in ITCs or NNCs. Applicants must be listed in the official conference programme and deliver an oral presentation (on-site or virtual) directly within the scope of eVoiceNet.
Both the conference and the application must take place within the same Grant Period.
Financial support
The grant contributes to costs such as travel, accommodation, subsistence, and conference registration fees (for in-person events), as well as participation in virtual conferences.
Funding is capped at:
- €1,200 for in-person conferences
- €500 for virtual conferences
As with all COST grants, this support is partial and reimbursement is made only after the conference and approval of the final report.
Application and evaluation
Applications must be submitted via the COST e-Services platform and include key information about the conference, the presentation, and the expected impact on the applicant’s research and career development.

Proposals are evaluated based on their relevance to eVoiceNet, the expected professional impact, and the applicant’s profile. Additional considerations include inclusiveness, geographical balance, and contribution to the Action’s network.
Timeline
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with results communicated within approximately one month.
Conferences must take place before 30 September 2026, and reports must be submitted shortly after participation.
Participation in the conference must acknowledge COST Action CA24128 eVoiceNet in line with official guidelines. For full details (eligibility, evaluation, reporting), please consult the full call here.
