Call opening on 15 April 2026
YRI Conference Grants support Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) in presenting their work at high-level international conferences organised outside of COST eVoiceNet. Participation can take place either in person or online, provided the applicant is actively contributing through a poster or oral presentation aligned with the Action’s objectives.
By supporting conference participation worldwide, this scheme aims to strengthen both researcher visibility and the broader dissemination of eVoiceNet activities, while promoting excellence and inclusiveness across the network.
Purpose and scope
These grants are designed to help early-career researchers showcase their work, connect with international peers, and engage with cutting-edge research in the field. Beyond individual benefits, they also contribute to increasing the visibility and impact of eVoiceNet within the global scientific community.
Proposed contributions must align with the Action’s research priorities, including areas such as data and methodology standardisation, open resources, ethical and privacy considerations, translational research, and dissemination.
Eligibility
The call is open to Young Researchers and Innovators (under 40) affiliated with institutions in COST Member countries. Applicants must be officially included in the conference programme and present their work either as a poster or an oral presentation, in person or online.
Both the conference participation and the grant application must fall within the same Grant Period.
Financial support
The grant provides a contribution towards travel, accommodation, subsistence, and conference registration fees.
For this Action, funding is limited to in-person participation, with a maximum amount of €1,200 per grant. As with all COST grants, this support is partial and reimbursement is made only after the conference and approval of the final report.
Application and evaluation
Applications must be submitted via the COST e-Services platform and include details about the conference, the presentation, and the expected impact on the applicant’s career development.

Proposals are evaluated based on their relevance to eVoiceNet, the expected professional impact, and the applicant’s profile. Additional considerations include inclusiveness, geographical balance, and contribution to the Action’s activities.
Timeline
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with results communicated within approximately one month.
Conferences must take place before 30 September 2026, and reports must be submitted shortly after participation.
All presentations must acknowledge COST Action CA24128 eVoiceNet in line with official guidelines. For full details (eligibility, evaluation, reporting), please consult the full call here.
